Description Right gauntlet hot raised from 1 mm mild steel in the style associated with Kastenbrust armour. Note that it's as angular as the breastplate. The finger part protects very well and is quite dangerous when used without a weapon, doubling as a fist dagger. The wrist area is not as angled as most usually seen, as I don't really use my wrist while fighting. I use this gauntlet with a messer and a buckler, so I won't make a left one. I'll likely make a thumb though.

Hey, quick question. How do you go about cutting your 1mm plate?

I use an angle grinder for most of my cutting.

If you made a left one, you could sell it to certain strapping young warriors. I'd love to have something like, especially if it could fit over an existing bracer. A sword in the right hand, and this on your left...that sounds awesome

That's freaking awesome dude!!! How much would you charge for a pair of those?

Roughly $80 when I have extra time. Though keep in mind that the wrist is far from being flared enough. A better quality pair would be around $120, or $200 if you need it with proper planishing.
My queue is filled up until about early July, and shipping from Hungary is not necessarily cheap. I'm also well-known for missing deadlines. If you're still interested, we may arrange something during summer.
And thanks for the faves!

Thank you, it's very much appreciated! I'm working on a slightly different pair in the same style, if you're interested, check back in about 2 weeks...
Thanks again!
