Description Skull visor for a grand bascinet.
My choice for an actually sculpted visor is based on extrapolation of various 15th century sources. While there's no actual evidence for this, it is probable that something like this existed. One of the main sources to support not-so-humanitarian designs is a painting showing a noble in a harness resembling an earlier picture depicting a demon - thus the idea of making "evil" armour is clearly not modern in origin.
It's cold formed from 2mm mild steel, using only a hammer and two chisels. Partial blackening done with linseed oil.
Remaining things to do: fit to helmet skull, drill holes into eyes, finish blackening.
