Gorgonopsid, The Therapsid from the late Permian. I just stuck his jaw on to see how it looks and to take a few pictures. Now I just have to clean him up, fix his jaws and give him a tail... maybe a few more osteoderms.Related content

What material did you use on the teeth and claws? It is fragile?

Femo polymer clay. It is less brittle than sculpey and holds up better in the mould.

You did an amazing job on its teeth. the claws are superb and the whole thing is just magnificent, you are an amazing at sculpting clay (or if it isn't clay what ever it is made of you are amazing at sculpting it). And that eye looks spectacular.

I do it for fun but I sell a few castings to folks who want them. I work in the film industry so I do do some sculpting for work as well. Sculpting is easy with some patience and a little practice.
