Thank you for all the times we've shared,
I wouldn't be the person I am today if not for you.
Thank you for the happiness you've given me,
You were the one who lit up my lifeless world.

I wish this didn't have to end like this,
You mean everything to me.
I wish I could still keep holding you,
Call you mine even though it's selfish.

Still, thank you for carrying me,
Holding me when everything was falling apart.
Thank you for being the one to dry my tears,
For stopping me from drowning in my misery.

Thank you for your kindness.
Thank you for your patience.
Thank you for being there for me.
Thank you for loving me.
There are a couple reasons as to why I made this, not because I'm depressed or that anyone has broken my heart (recently)! It's just, I know we've all felt that way some time or another. We blame ourselves for the end of something, whether it is the end of a love or the life of a loved one, that we wanted to continue forever. We lose that one thing or person that mattered the most to us and it feels like the world's ending. But, it's not the end. There's always hope for the future. After all, all bad things will come to an end. So, just hang in there and know that you are loved!

In a way, I guess this is a semi tribute for my dad who committed suicide when I was ten. The next five years that followed were dark and chaotic, filled with hatred to humanity and self loathing; hence the pitch black with white text mixed with jumbled thoughts. But, I'm happier now. Even though it hurts when I think back on what happened, I was glad to have been his little princess. Even though I cry when I think of him, I can smile through the tears because I know that things can only get better. Even though, the pain still lingers.

So, to me, this is actually borderline symbolic.

Don't forget. No matter how much it hurts. Because one day, it will come back as your strength. I hope, that if any of you out there are going through something hard, just know that it will pass and you will return stronger than you were before! Believe!This has been in my stash since what?
