in Singapore all males have to go for two years of conscription! ): so its like after we take out diploma we all go off to become a soldier for 2 years. ):

and its not interesting! you spend like 13 years studying then you go off for 2 years into a compulsory army where they torture you physically and strip you off your human rights..then you come out a little dumber...

err they say cause the country population is small and need every able bodied male to fight in case a war breaks out.
there is no escape, once youre born a singaporean. lol. you have to go back every 2 weeks or so per year till youre ..45 i think? or sth like tht
