Description
I hate this drawing. The costume is O.K., the pose is lousy, his face sucks, and I hate the way he is holding his sword. What do you think?Some Folks like this drawing though.

That's kind of cool I think. Makes me not hate this drawing so much.

Yeah, I agree. A shield would have improved this drawing.
Though, I would give him a smaller sword if he did have a shield.

Well his hands dont look like they are ripping e sword tight enough and the face is kinda wierd looking, like hes giving somebody the smolder

Yeah, the sword needs to be at another angel.

I agree the pose is kinda lame, and his face... so-so (You've done much better)...

I stared a revised version of this that ended being more than I could handle. I should give it another try draw this guy right some day.

His head might be slightly too big, but I didn't notice that until someone above mentioned it... Frankly, the thumbnail grabbed me, and I wasn't disappointed at all with the full size. The pose is just fine, and actually the way he is holding the sword is unique but not unbelievable at all. Very nice... keep up the good work!

I agree about the neck and the pie smell.
He should be looking left... down his sword and not over his shoulder.

Thanks, I started a new version of this but I kept changing more and more and it was just not the same. So we will have to just deal with his weird neck for now.

I like him! I think he's a newb- just been knighted and all that at too young an age because they needed warriors and such. He's taking orders from his commander, learning how to fight... I like him! LoL

There is something wrong with the head, or maybe the neck is too thick, but the pose and the grip are anatomically correct, so I wouldn't beat myself about it

i think he should grip the sword in a more upright, ready position, tensed, anticipating trouble...
the pose right now is just bleh. (what is he doing really, where does he think he is pointing that thing...)

I like it. The pose is perfect too. To me it looks like he was about to do something with his sword when something else caught his attention.... "Let's see...sword, check. Wrongdoers held up in fort that need to be taught a lesson, check. Wait a minute...Is that pie I smell?"

He looks like a squire who got caught playing with his master's sword.
"Umm, this sword? I was just fetching it for you milord."
The problem I have with his face, is that it is on a head that seems too big for the rest of his body.
