Description Pokémon Puzzle League, the Panel de Pon inspiration released for Nintendo64. Players choose from a variety of PokéTrainers and there associated Pokémon for a puzzle-fight in order to obtain badges and become the Puzzle Champion.

I... have never been so obsessed with a simple puzzle game in all my life. I've tried just Puzzle League, but the Pokémon element of this title is just too hilarious to ignore. After a couple days of playing, you'll be flipping tiles every time you close your eyes, heh!

You know, when Nintendo released "Nintendo Puzzle Collection" for the Gamecube over in Japan, I imagine that instead of Panel De Pon, they’d put a remake of Pokemon Puzzle League in it, with the following changes:

  • you can bring your pokemon from Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, FireRed, & LeafGreen into the game, via GameCube/Game Boy Advance Adapter, to play with them in there
  • the level of the pokemon determines how much garbage blocks are done to the opponent when a chain is done as well as Type Advantages
  • there are 3 campaign modes representing each region in the games around that time (Kanto, Johto, & Hoenn) each with the anime’s representation of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four, along with some of anime exclusive trainers from the season of the region (like the rivals Ash made during the League episodes of each region), and if complete a run on Hard Mode without losing once on one region you get to fight a Legendary Pokemon from that region (Mewtwo for Kanto, Lugia & Ho-Oh for Johto, and Deoxys for Hoenn), after you beat them you unlock them to be used as rentals if you don’t have a game cartridge or to import them to your GBA game to be used there, and after you beat all three of those, you’d be sent to fight Mew, Celebi, & Jirachi to get the true ending and to get to play as them for rentals and to be imported to the GBA game
  • it would also have online multiplayer with the GameCube’s Online Broadband Adapter

do you think that would be good?

Using! X3 I love this game so much too! It's from my childhood. When I beat Gary and Mewtwo on super hard, I was SO proud of myself because I tried, like, two thousand times! xD And I beat Mewtwo on super hard in only three tries!! ( >w< )/ Though the amount of times I challenged Gary and lost doesn't even come close to that. xD

I Really wish they could turn this into an IPad App so that you do not need a portable device to swap the tiles instead you use your fingers

I really wish they would make a sequel to this game. I'd rather much see a Pokemon Puzzle League 2 than another freaking Call of Duty game.

They just don't make PKMN games like this anymore.

I love this game!! It's so fun. I'm really good at it too, which makes me happy, 'cause usually I suck at games. xD
3-D mode is the best haha, I can get up to 20 chain combinations. |D

That is one of my favourite video games as well! On the one-Player mode, concerning VS. Gym Leaders and Elite Four, that facing VS. Mewtwo is fun, yet frustrating at the harder difficulties. Every time I beaten Mewtwo, I spaz out, got excited. One time, few hours after attending a wrestling event, that I won a battle VS. Mewtwo, and I yelled so much in excitement, that I lost my voice! XD

Also, I always, concerning 2 Players, use the Ash VS. Mewtwo format (via using "B+Up+L+B+A+Start+A+Up+R" cheat at Character Select). I always use Mewtwo, since he is my favourite character/Pokémon.

Anyway, nice stamp! : D

Well, the main thing of beatnig Mewtwo at the both difficulties he is in is alot of luck. And very strong determination.
