I agree with this stamp, My stepmom and dad want me to be like a lady by putting dresses on, wearing a purse, putting up my hair in a ponytail or trying to move my bangs on my hair away, Once my sister put makeup on me and the result was terrifying as I really didn't look right in makeup and I quickly took it off. My mom lets me be okay as she was a bit of a tomboy when she was young and I am a bit tomboyish myself and of course I do not like to be girly or ladyish and my stepsister agrees with me too.

My parents abandoned trying to teach me how to be a lady when I was ten. They realized it wasn't going to happen.

Unless dressing in " girly " clothes, with cute colors, peace signs and stuff, liking pink and having a 3DS and case of the color, plus other things, liking LPS, Lulu Caty, Cromimi, Petz, Zoobles, etc., being clean, and not gross, and so forth means being lady-like, than this applies to me.

Yeah, there are several misconceptions about the term. I honestly don't considered a lot of things of what is ladylike or not, and I sometimes see it as hypocritical. First off, if a girl farts or burps and if it was accidental or not, I only consider it as being a human, and it may be disgusting, but for both genders. If she has a humor of those, it's still has nothing to do with the term. Second, if a girl is aggressive, then that's personality. I once heard this idiotic one from my Teacher's wife that she is against video games and thinks it's unladylike, even for girl's games. I'd say she is completely wrong. Video games has nothing to do with that. I mean she even hates Mario kart Wii for some reason, and anyone, whether it's a guy or girl, kids or adults, plays Mario kart. Plus, most people I play video games with, physically, are females in my life. They show me cool games like Mario, Sonic, and other stuff, so I don't see why video games relates to ladylike, because that's stubborn. Also, I don't like when they make you wear makeup just to make you "ladylike", she doesn't have to. I prefer seeing their natural appearance over makeup and nail polish, unless for cosplay purposes. I am a male and I think there are misleading with that term. When I think of a term, ladylike, I think of politeness, and even a male can be polite to his girl, so I think the term needs to be redefined.

I know right!?
I'm not a tomboy...
But if there's a few things I hate it's (no offense)
BRAIDING HAIR, DRESSES, (some of them) SKIRTS, MAKEUP AND SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES.
Once again, no offense!

My teacher says "Sit like a lady because all the boys look at you now and you so immature."
1. None of her beeswax how I sit
2. I haven't been objectified because of how I sit in my desk, in the back row, surrounded by girls on all sides
Who do she think I is?

Only a person with old mind can think like that..I mean you even cares about the way you are standing....
If you want my opinion I don't even care about how I look.....but I think she mainly said it so you will not get spine problems and the boys was just an excuse...
