if something gets popular overtime, there will be a number of haters of it. case for steven universe here.
just because this show is popular on tumblr does NOT mean it 'panders to sjws'. anti sjws love to think that having fat/gay/genderless characters auto equals that it was made for sjws. well, have you ever thought that maybe for a change more childrens cartoons will have lgbt representation? go ahead and look. tell me how much lgbt characters you can find in kids shows.
there are a handful of sjws in the fandom, yes, but that doesn't mean EVERYONE in the fandom is one.
