My Chiffon, fairy of fabrics, in Somnix Dio Rosa.Suvi (MentalDysfunction ) made this design for me <3 I don't think I ever really got used to how pretty it was. I still look at it and sigh xD Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for this Suvi. It's definitely about time I draw it properly <3 If you want to see her original design you can see it here
I tried making the clouds look like roses. Either it was too obvious or not obvious enough, so I left it like this xD I also tried replicating the original lace pattern, I quite like how that came out :3
If I understood correctly, each somnix stage is inspired by a sky/space phenomenon and this one is based on clouds. It's got a such an elegance and softness to it :3 Somnix Dio Rosa is definitely the perfect Somnix stage for Chiffon. It's so gorgeous, light and breathy and overall suits Chiffon perfectly<3
This was a joy to work with <3 At least most of the time. My Sai crashed halfway through the process and staring over was just painful. Lesson learnt: Press ctrl +s frequently! I'm just repeating it here so I'll remember it. It's too easy to forget xD Otherwise I had tons of fun with it :3 I added a bit of texture to the wings. I hope that's okay :3

ah, Dio Rosa. The most elusive of somnixes. This picture, Jas. It's so...floaty. That's the only word that comes to my mind, and I'm in AP English.
Kidding! Wow, I have so much to say! I know what you mean about looking at it and sighing, because I'm doing the same thing!
I don't know if you tried to make the actual clouds look rose-shaped, because I can sort of see it (?) but they definitely have a rosy sort of vibe to them XD
Ah, replicating lace is HARD! Wonderful job, it looks gorgeous! Dio Rosa really is perfect for Chiffon! I hope we see more designs from Suvi, or from someone else, because it really is SO beautiful, and it has a cool sort of ethereal feel to it.
Chiffon looks very peaceful here, like she's just floating on the clouds, and I think that's a perfect pose for this transformation!
I also love the way the pearls run through her braid. It gives it such a beautiful effect, and I would love to do that in my hair! unfortunately, I recently cut it very short and donated it, so I don't mind waiting a few years
those wings, holy smokes!

I did try to make the clouds rose shaped. It was either too obvious or not obvious enough. I decided to go with not obvious enough xD
It is, but when you know what the pattern is like, replicating is easier than making up a new pattern. Also Suvi's pattern is so pretty <3

Yes the pearls in the braid is pretty cool, it was run replicating that! My hair is too short for anything like that though.
Ohh, I bet you look cool with short hair though. Also nicely done, donating it to a good purpose

thanks, I think it's pretty cool. I can do some neat vintage styles with it now. It was time to cut it though. I could never get it to be very neat, and it kept breaking my combs. When I would shower I would find little comb teeth buried in it

You are insane Jas. I almost lost my mind designing this design, as fun as it was, and even thinking about actually putting it into use, into actual drawing.... Just, I could never! You managed to make it, and even make it so super beautiful and peaceful looking *q* The cloud ends of the 'tails' look so soft and simply perfect <3 Ugh all the details on this are just so perfectly on place... Of course I'd put it into actual use. It's too fabulous not to draw! I'm just sorry it took so long for me to draw it. That's rather embarrassing. I guess I kept being a liiiiiittle intimidated by it? xD So happy I finally did something with it. It's such a divine design
And of course you could do it! You'd just be annoyed by it because it doesn't have oceans of hair, AMIRITE?
