A soulless, empty-eyed owl that holds a key to some sort of dark secret... ooooooo~

Ahem. So I recently purchased a nice 40 page art journal with an interesting paper texture. And its big, too, a little over 8.5x11, compared to my most recent sketch pads which have been a tiny 6x9 or something.
Anyway, I bought this specifically for PENCIL SKETCHES. I need to improve! I used to /only/ draw in pencil, and now I avoid it. Its a shame, I really need to work on it... Hence the journal! Pencil is the only thing that is compatible with the paper! Ink sinks through it, and there is no way watercolor will even try to stick on, so I have removed my crutches and must stay faithful to the pencil!
