Well, I did end up going back to work for a little while but lack of PPE and regulations from the GDC meant that I am now back on furlough until the situation changes.
Yeah, it's frustrating because I love my job, I miss my colleagues and work makes you appreciate the down time more.
So, not one to waste the time I have been writing my second, third and fourth books and taking some time out to do a little art again.
When all else fails, there are certain things that are my 'go to' for art when I just need to relax and it's Star Wars for the win.
Time to add to the collection with a little bit of art from the Dark Side
Done with polychromos pencils and built up in layers, utilising my pressure application and layering techniques, the picture consists of 20 colours.
Vader's eye lenses were done with white, scarlet red, light magenta, ultramarine, magenta, light ultramarine, sky blue, Venetian red, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 5, warm grey 6 and burnt siena.
His face plate was done with white, light magenta, ultramarine, sky blue, cobalt turquoise, raw umber, Venetian red, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
The helmet collar was done with white, magenta, ultramarine, sky blue, cobalt turquoise, earth green yellowish, grey green, raw umber, gold ochre, Venetian red, warm grey 4 and warm grey 6.
The helmet dome was done with white, scarlet red. ultramarine, sky blue, earth green yellowish, raw umber, gold ochre, Venetian red, black, warm grey 1, warm grey 2, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
His body armour was done with white, light ultramarine, earth green yellowish, raw umber, Venetian red, black, warm grey 3, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
His lighsaber was done with white and Venetian red.
Obi-Wan's lightsaber was done with white, ultramarine, light ultramarine, sky blue and warm grey 1.
The wall on the left was done with white, earth green yellowish, raw umber, gold ochre, Venetian red, black, warm grey 4, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
The wall on the right was done with black, warm grey 5 and warm grey 6.
Finally the corridor ceiling was done with white, black and warm grey 6.

Completion time: 20 hours 02 minutes
