Description
My mind became twisted as I sat up in the hospital bed, blood seemingly rising up from my arms and hands, spilling onto the covers. I eventually came to remember the feel of it, warm, and sticky. I remembered the feeling of nothing, a sneering grin at my victim, a look that said, "It was better off this way.", the way of a sadist.I screamed.
It was short, but loud enough for Hanyuu to snap her head towards me.
"Calm down, Rika."
I blinked once, and the brief twisted world my mind had shown through my eyes vanished...

Thanks to Shannon of the Higu/Umi RP I was able to read the Higurashi Rei VN. ...Was it Saikoroshi? ...Dice Killing. Whatever.
I spent 2 hours reading the whole thing. Cried, Raged, Cried more.
God.
It was so good imo ;A;

Great job on her expression! Also, those hands are just awesome.
I can't really see much of anything wrong with this picture technically, but there are a few stylistic things I see... Have you tried inking your lines digitally? I know it's a royal pain, and takes forever, but the benefits of having nice clean black lines by far outweighs the benefits
Also, if you have pretty pencil lineart already, you can do a fuzzy-select of the pencil lines, set the selection to a path, and then stroke said path, which basically turns your pretty pencil lines into nice smooth versions of themselves in pure black (or whatever color you choose)
Also, maybe make the blood a little more gruesome? It could just be that I'm addicted to really nasty blood or something, but I'm talking, real pools of blood under her hands (and, it should be noted that blood soaking into cloth doesn't loose color like that--it should stay fairly pure red where it's staining the cloth). Of course, if you don't feel like it, nothing needs changing

Oh man. I went through so many pictures of hands just to get them right.
I'll probably get back to digitally linearting my work, once I figure out how to get pen pressure on Photoshop. >_>
And yeah I got extremely lazy on the blood xD I promise to make things more gruesome next time. |D
