EDIT: Updated with a new background. Yay/nay?

This is the lucky day of all Cosette fans - two in a row! All because I've taken some time today to finish a couple of small projects lying around.

At first, this was supposed to be Fantine. I thought about drawing a companion piece than the previous Cosette I uploaded, inspired by the ÅST production - hence the tree, which is a prominent part of the production's staging.

But, at some point, I ditched the idea (I don't even know why anymore! I really want to draw Fantine now) and this evolved into another Cosette, a bit inspired by this illustration.
Now, this is supposed to be a part of my illustration project, or at least a draft for it - I'm still unsure whether I love or hate the colours in the background. Compared to the Éponine picture , which is also for the project, they're way too faint.
What do you think?
