Anyone remember Ash's Pidgeot from the anime?Well remember how he left it behind at the end of Season 1 with some Pidgey and Pidgeotto, and promised he'd be back for it soon?
Well he never did. This always disappointed when I was younger since Pidgeot is awesome. It's certainly better than the other Bird Pokemon he's replaced it with IMO.
Considering how loyal Pidgeot was, I would imagine it would still be waiting for him to keep his promise. Yeah, Ash is a jerk.
Somehow, I don't think we'll ever see Pidgeot again.
Anyway, this picture kinda sucks. Sorry for any anatomy fails, I don't tend to draw birds much.

Well, Ash never did try to properly train his Charizard. That's why when Charmander evolved into Charmeleon it kinda showed how Ash isn't the best of trainers since he didn't really take the time to discipline a newly evolved Charmeleon since it obviously showed signs of not wanting to listen. XD Lolz.

It's the same with Squirtle, Charizard and maybe some others I'm forgetting.
Anyway, I like this. It's quite symbolic when used in the context you described.

Yeah, but they were just left in training and can be called upon. As least we still did see them a few more times. Pidgeot was never seen again.
