United Worlds: The United Worlds (UW) is a representative governing body, representing almost all Earth based nations, nominally overseeing the entire Sphere from their headquarters on Earth. However, their real authority is concentrated around the Core systems. The rest of UW territory consists of "aligned autonomous systems" or "freestars" - systems governed by nation-states, megacorporations, and other large organizations under UW charter. Life in the Core Territory around Sol is comfortable though unremarkable, while conditions vary greatly across the worlds of the freestars.

Novan Protectorate: The Novan Protectorate began as a megacorporate coalition that governed Tau Ceti and it’s nearby systems as freestars. It eventually transitioned into the first and the last of the UW protectorates due to the rapidly growing population spurned by the great immigration from Earth during the Great Exodus. The Protectorate is famous for its Earth-like worlds Terra Nova, Eden and Haven. However, the Protectorate is plagued with extreme inequality, corruption, and unrestrained capitalism.

Capital World: Terra Nova, Tau Ceti

Outworld league: An alliance of autonomous colonies around Procyon, Luyten's Star and Rhea that rebelled against their ruling UW protectorate government in the First Colonial War. Due to the diverse and conflicting cultures, ideologies and interests of the colonies, they are prone to infighting and are infamous for their dysfunctional politics.

Capital World: technically none though most consider Salmanaca (Procyon) as the unofficial capital

Tri-star Union: The ice world of Trinity Shores is famous throughout the Sphere for not only achieving independance from its former Earth based colonial government but also achieving it almost without spilling a single drop of blood. Nowadays, Tri-Star Union is considered the ideal outcome of colony liberation, with many pro-independence actvists studing and learning from the liberation methods of the Frist Revolutionaries. Some however attribute Tri-Star’s peacefull liberation to the exhausted state of Post Colonial Wars UW.

Halcyon Republic: The rimworld of Pandora in the distant Halcyon system was once governed by the authoritarian UW Protectorate Of Halcyon. After generations of rebellion and the devastating Second Colonial War, the colonists successfully overthrew their masters under the banner of the The Order Of The White Sun, renaming their world “Rodina”. Unfortunatly for the citizens of Rodina, the Order Of The White Sun soon became their new oppressors. The Order Of The White Sun soon formed the Halcyon Republic, an isolationist pirate kingdom on fringes of the settled space that often launches raids on the poorly defended worlds of the Rim and the Far Worlds.
