Through the watery glass
I see what I desire
But yours is a world
Into which I can never pass

It would turn me upside down
Destroy what I thought was real
If I was to take your hand
And pass into oblivion

Some see a reflection
Other see their conscience
I see nothing
Other than the blackness of my soul

Sharpened pane I see what I desire
But as I reach it fades into shadow
And the broken shards of my
Heart appear to me in my reflection

I try to grasp at the last remanents
Of sanity, but the shards of glass
Rip open my chest
And reveal the thing I feared all along

In the mirror there is nothing
Just shaddow and blood stained
Memories of those who I have
Destroyed in my path
