FINISHED IT!!It's still not the best ... but I really like how it turned out.
Much better than it was earlier.
I was soooooo close to giving up, you didn't know!
I literally closed out and was like "I'm done! No more.." ... then immediately opened back up and continued messing with it XD
HERE'S THE STORY THAT GOES WITH IT!! (warning... it's not that good)
"Breathe in, breathe out"
Danny's lungs felt as if they were about to burst.
"Poor soul, filled with doubt."
They were his parents, his parents. They wouldn't possibly do this if they knew it were him... right?
"Do you believe in reality?"
He turned a corner, numb from shock. As his parents took aim, he couldn't help believing this wasn't real.
"Or is this a nightmare you can never wake from?"
It had to be another dream, another nightmare. He would wake up eventually, gasping for air, but he would be fine and he would continue another day in the world that was most familiar to him.
"The world so cruel, so cover your eyes little one."
As the blast came he closed his eyes tightly, willing for this to go away. He didn't want to be here anymore... he didn't want to see what would happen next.
"Shut out this unfamiliar place. You don't belong here."
He didn't even try to block the oncoming blast.
"As reality comes crashing down you realize"
Falling child, open to the world around you.
"through tear-filled eyes.."
Though the world was a blur, he knew...
"You are alone."
A blinding light, screams of despair.
Silence.
