Brielle's mother, Camilla is a swamp witch who found Brielle as a little foal when she was abandoned by whoever her biological parents were. While Brielle knows she's adopted, she doesn't care who her 'real' parents are, because Camilla is her mom, and nothing anyone could say would make her doubt that.
Camilla is pretty cool, but she's also a massive doter. When Brielle decided she was going to be a knight, she insisted that Brielle take something she made; a bag of holding with two openings. One is on her end and the other is Brielle's.Β So she essentially packs lunches for her, along with writing little embarassing notes, like all mom packed lunches do. She's got a lot of creativity and outside of the box thinking, but she's still a huge mom. She always asks about Brielle's day wherever she goses, it's also a little like the friendship reports of their universe.
Her tail lights up when she's doing magic.

Those are fucking amazing to use. Its like wielding Zeus's lightning bolts, or Mjolnir. We lost it... Ok, if you want to get technical, I lost it. Our old dog (the one i drew) used to escape all the time, and the dogcatcher bill gets ratcheted up a level for each visit, so when he escaped, i had to chase him, and i had to drop the zapper. Byers was actually a huge powerhouse, like, way bigger than normal Labradors. His first dogcatching incident, he snapped their leash, and that had never happened before. He snapped a leash built for huge dogs like Great Danes like it was nothing. And it wasnt like he was aggressive, he was just super strong.

Byers was awesome.
Despite being that strong, he was a total sweetheart. The only way he could hurt someone is by way of being super excited. He used to jump up to put his paws on your shoulders when he was young, and he had a tail that qualified legally as a weapon of mass destruction, and he once accidentally dragged me into the concrete because he wanted to go play with the dog right across the street.

We had to put things inΒ the middle of the coffee table when we had our dog Riker.Β If we didn't he'd wag his tail and knock everything over.

Whenever it was pool weather my brother and I would be on opposite ends of the pool we bought, Riker would be in the middle and we'd toss the ball to each other and watch him jump and try to get it.Β We called itΒ "Jumpin jaws!"

Oddly, even though Nyers was a Labrador Retriever, specifically built for swimming, with watertight fur and rudder tail (which basically made his tail upgrade from 'knock over stuff' to a loud whack).... He was afraid of water.
Again; Webbed paws, watertight fur, swimming build, tail built to be a rudder... And the only way to get him into water would be to throw him in.

Riker loved water.Β This one time he got out of the house and we thought we lost him.Β Turns out he just went to a nearby pond and went swimming for a couple hours then came right back.

A nice plump cat. She reminds me of if someone crossed Mrs. Weasley with Blair from Soul Eater. (For context, she's a magic cat who uses Witch-like magic.)
