Dinky Doo's dragon assistant, Prickles was hatched by Dinky, not by raw magic, but by taking it home with her when she couldn't magically hatch it, caring for it, and earning her place in the academy. Prickles is much older than he looks (about 30) (hatched by dinky when she was 10, the minimum age to enter the academy) and has chosen not to grow up, now that Spike discovered a dragon could grow through virtue, Prickles has chosen to neutral, prefering his small size. He actually wants to date [link] (Sparklers kid), and it seems like Corona Borealis likes him back. It might mean he wan'ts to grow up one day, because, while he is nice to most everypony, he tries to keep from chivalrous acts. Recently he's started helping Dinky with her kid and her three friends.
