Barn owls are my favorite owl, I love how ghostly and feminine they look. I wanted to do something a bit different so I went for white on black, and tried to aim for a little more realistic but still somewhat surreal (at least in concept). It's definitely got its issues, but it was nice to try something else out and use some different brushes than I normally would with digital work.
