Description When does one lose their innocence? How? Everyone has their own view... I would like to hear... I'm listening.

I love how she is a ray of light in an ever dark world.
Me and a few of my friends and I still have innocence. You don't see it in any of my pictures because I try to look tough.

very cute. i like the idea here that the child is the only color in the picture, while the rest is grey.

Long time no see! First of all, I love this picture. The way you captured that bright patch of color in such a dull landscape really lends to the title you gave this photo. I especially love all the little patches of green underneath the slide (where youth and innocence reside) that taper off in the distance as we draw away from the slide. I don't even know if you intended that to be obvious here, but it caught my eye.

My thoughts on loss of innocence... if by innocence you mean more that childlike wonder and optimism toward the world... I like to think we never actually lose that, but more that it just kind of gets buried somewhere deep down inside. Other things pile in on top of it until it's too hard for us to access it, and we start to think it's gone and no longer available to us. That's why I think things like miracles and small wonders (like a random hug) can make us feel so giddy and childlike again. For a few seconds, we reopen that little box deep down that reminds us how to see the world that way. That's just my two cents, though. MWAH! Lovely photo, as always!

Well, thank you for the compliment! (on my pic of course) ^_^

and I think you might be right on how our childlike innocence is never lost, but I think perhaps there is more than that type of innocence.. *shrugs*
