Description I did this in my sketchbook from a photo my daughter took at the aquarium in Lincoln City, OR. Mixture of PITT Brushtip Markers, Prismacolor Markers, and Sharpies.

AWesome! I'd never guess you used a sharpie too! so gorgeously rendered that it looks painted in watercolor.

I used the sharpies to add tiny details. The Prismacolor markers are what gives it the watercolor look.

Man, this is so lovely. It's realistic, but still shows the mark and technique. It looks redder on here than in real life. I know I already asked you, but you did the white and blues first then the red right? It is such a nifty piece

Yeah, I used watercolor technique, and left the paper blank where I wanted white. I did the background first with Prismacolor, Then started the reds and oranges with the Pitt markers. Then the blue and violet shadows with Prismas, then pinks and magenta over the reds with Sharpies.
