Okay, taking a break from commissions to do... THIS!!
(You don't need to bother fav'ing this or taking this seriously, I just want to have silly fun D: )

So I always have had troubles drawing spikey hair... I just can't grasp how Tetsuya Nomura or Akira Toriyama (creator of Dragon Ball) do it. So I decided to practice a little on Chrono from Chrono Trigger. If it weren't for his spikey hair, I'd draw him 2398742 more times than I do Link OTL;;;

1. My first attempt... By copying a ref, faillll. My imagination just can't handle the high definition spectrum of spiky hair.
2. My attempt on biting the ref out of anger and frustration.
3. Then I thought "HEY! Let's look at another source" and ultimately, it lead me to some sort of... magazine cover of Cloud? Silly google search results. I still can't believe how realistic and PLAUSIBLE Cloud's hair was in the FF7 movie. I'm sure cosplayers around the globe were crying out of joy as well.
4. I noticed how eerily similar both Chrono and Cloud's hair are. I'm guessing Squeenix loves their share of spiky hair protagonists.
5. Practice practice practice from game scenes (or not). LUMINAIREEEEE *uses every 5 seconds in game)

Anywho, I need to work on commissions now grrr *procrastinator* I'm also working on updating my website (wait, I had a website?!) anddd other stuff like Secret Santa business. I'm also considering doing a fancomic of Chrono Trigger once I get a hang of drawing Chrono, and maybe Magus. Magus looks like a vampire in my style, oh lord.
