Woot art! A quick sketch that turned into a character... Well actually Lance was already a character I made some time ago, but now he's an official OC
I entered him in a contest a while back, but since he didn't go anywhere I decided he would make a good part of the family 
I'm actually really happy with how this turned out. Not so much the background, it is fairly crapish. But seeing as I did it in around an hour, I suppose it's okay. I didn't want to do anything too elaborate because I wanted most of the focus to be on Lance.
I've also started developing a new colouring style/technique. I'm way happier with this than my old style. It still has room for improvement, but I guess that's oen of the things I'm happy with. I have several different ways I could go with the style, so if I ever change my mind it's easy enough to change again without it being too different.
I know I should be working on my last trade for , but I had been working on this for a while and really wanted to get it finished
I'll probably make a quick ref sheet for Lance and then he'll be out of the way and I can get on with the trade Lance (c) me ~Starstallion

Aww, Lancie looks so cute! Did you make his coat more grey than it was before? I completely love your new mane and tail tecnique! It looks so awesome, and so shiny

Yeah I like this way of mane and tails more as well. The technique for mane and tail as well as shading as a fair way to go, but I'll get there eventually
