I like making sketchbooks more than filling them up, but this time I actually managed to finish one!! Anyway this was one of the first ones I made with coptic binding. I apologise for the scan quality and the... furrows between the pages on the double page-spreads (bad sewing).My imagination is limited. These were all speed painted as I watched Dave Matthews Band's Crash into Me over and over again. Watch it, the visual style and setting is weird and wonderful.

Lol I know what you mean when it comes to inspiration. Most of the time for me, i have to look at something multiple times to get an kind of idea for a piece. XD;

Yeh I started making them because I lived across the road from this fancy paper shop (every time I walked by I would go in and buy something... orz) and one of my friends got into it too. It also gives me brownie points in college haha. they're like this and this
ah the list is really long... for these sketches specifically, the sketchbook was made of heavy cartridge paper (not the best thing to use with watercolour but it was leftovers I had), watercolours, indian ink, gold & yellow acrylics, an artline felt-tip , and
a water brush in addition to normal brushes. feel free to ask me more if you can think of anything else.
