Description Forgive me with the title, my friend Zion and I had a hard time deciding.

Tools used : Paint tool SAI

Here is Zion with his split tipped sword prepared for anything that might happen while he is on midnight guard duty.

I felt kinda inspired after the last picture and wanted to work on one of my trades. Zion came to mind first so I went to work on it. I'm rather surprised with how it turned out. Even though I only spent about 7 hours on it, which is the quickest I've ever done anything digital, the quality is pretty good.

Attempted some firsts in a long time, such as drawing digi-legs and paws. That was such a pain having no experience in drawing them before, but they turned out decently. Lighting could of been better. Also tried going with a moderate background, some problems and impatience got in the way, but overall, I feel good about the picture.

About halfway through the lineart though, I lost motivation in the pose chosen and wanted to do another. Zion wanted me to continue, so I pressed onward. Livestreamed this sucker for the most part as well, and I thank you to all of those that stopped by to say hello and have a good time. I couldn't have stayed on task so much without you all.

Nice work on the fog effect, really sets the atmosphere~

I'm glad to hear you made it through the storm safely. Hopefully you'll I'll see you on RS sometime so you can tell me all about it. ^^. Thanks, those things were such a pain to draw lol, but hopefully I'll get the gist of things.

The character is very cute, the background water/moon is really sets a mood, and the grass is pretty impresive. (did you use a tool or hand-draw it?)

Most of the background I drew with the tablet, and majority of coloring, shading, and texturing (even the grass) was also drawn with the tablet. It's kinda awkward for me to say that I don't use the tablet to draw the actual subject of the picture cept for the tail.

I love the fur detailing on this, and the pose is great too! I managed to pop in the livestream for a few minutes before going out to run some errands, too bad I couldn't stay long enough to see the shading and background painting take place.

Excellent work, once again. I'm not sure if he looks like he's nervously posing for the cameraman, or considering lobbing his head off. "Ehh, you aren't supposed to be here. Please leave."
I always prefered digigrade legs on dragons and anthro. You did well with 'em.

Well, Zion's a watchman afterall. If anyone is on the premises while he is on duty, he'll ask them to leave, by word or by blade, even if it's a fangirl wanting his autograph.

The legs were such a pain, but I hope to continue practicing them, including in the pic you asked me to do. Hopefully they'll keep getting better over time

Thanks. Those legs were giving me a nightmare. I actually used multiple sketches to do the lineart on this one. One for the torso, another for the legs, and another for the feet lol
