Of course it is. You can see the time of shooting in the EXIF information, with a minor correction - I still forget to change the hour in my DSLR camera from the summer to winter time. So instead of e.g. 8:00 am you should read 7:00 am. At the end of march the time stamp will be again correct, of course unless I decide to change it manually and forget about it in spring again

I was thinking more along the lines of soft colours in sunrise and more vibrant colours at sunset??  As you say also if you can see EXIF information
