I can't really tell for sure, so maybe it won't work, but did you consider adding exposition? Seems a little underexposed to me, the fog being grey rather then white. Can't guarantee it helps, just a suggestion to try.

But it really was greyish. The morning was gloomy and the shot has been taken very early (6:49 a.m.) - just before sunrise. I went to this place hoping for a photograph of sun rising over water (a small artificial lake at the outskirts of KrakΓ³w). But the fog was too dense, and no water could be discerned in the photographs I made. Additionally, the sun started to shine at about 11 a.m. this day. So all I got was some pictures of trees growing in the vicinity.
