Jackie was transported to processing, her hands and feet cuffed.

"Don't worry Jackie, you'll get to spend a week of relaxation and therapy here, we're under strict instructions from the Commissioner. You'll get a nice room all to yourself and some new clothes" Martha said with dripping sarcasm.
"The Commissioner ordered this?" Jackie asked lazily, the sedative still very much in effect.
"Yes, you'll get the full treatment Lara has had."
"But why would she do this?"

Martha stopped. "Officially you have been overworking, a neat way of saying you've been involving yourself in things you shouldn't, and stealing Lara's clothes was a bad move."
"Oh" Jackie sighed.
"Want to know what I really think? I think she just wants you out of her hair for a week and perhaps to teach you a lesson. She's a very resourceful lady" Martha continued pushing the trolley. "Anyway we'll get you processed, then assign you to a cell pending an interview with the Lead Doctor. If you behave yourself you'll be out of here by the end of the observation period."

Martha knew that she would also be gone by then, but she had a rat to deal with first. She was top dog, not some assistant who's probably there to spy on her. She began grinding her teeth in anger.
