Very nice drawing. I really love this movie, and I especially like the English version. And, sorry venuslove, but I prefer the Disney version to the first dub--what little I heard of it really didn't impress me; Muska's VA was especially disappointing. Disney's version may not be the accurate, undistorted version purists wanted it to be, but it's by no means an unlistenable dub.
I do think Anna Paquin did a good job as Sheeta; maybe not as good as the other actors in the dub, but still decent. I especially liked her accent--it added a touch of mystery to the character.

Studio Ghibli actually - Disney imported it and dubbed it so they could slap their name on it.

Really? Laptua is my second fav to totoro, hehe, I I have a plush totor and a catbus toy, I'll take piccies of them one day and post them on D art. People in the US should know it, for shame, lol.

Well the most familiar of Miyazaki's works would be Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, here in the US. Disney did release Kiki's and Laputa here though... but no one else seems to know them

Yeah and they know even less about my neighbour totoro, sniffle. I taped totoro off the TV yonks ago, I have no idea if the english dub has changed on the new DVD like the Laptua dub did. The new eng dub on laptua sounds nasty compared to the old one...sniffle...
