A very good scene to portray. Except for something that appears to me dimensionally off with Eowyn, I like this!

Amazing!  It manages to give off a Tolkien vibe to it.  Which really allows these younger versions of the characters to shine through with the rest of the picture.  <3  Great, great work~!

You did a great job again! Although I detect a theme of partings in your recent work. Eomund went and made himself into a dead hero against the Orcs, and Theodwyn was of course crushed, although she must have already died a little every time here hot-headed lord went hunting the vermin of Mordor regardless of his own posse. It shows in her prematurely aged expression and distracted nature, here. She was Theoden's favorite sister, so it's not too surprising that he had her children fostered at Edoras, and raised them as if they were his own children. As a devotee of Renaissance art I feel Theoden shold be facing the viewer, instead of having his back to them, so we can admire his regal bearing and fine clothes. I do like how he is letting Eowyn hold Herugrim, who is about the same height as her!

The text concerning the actual event is rather thin, but you have done a great job filling in via the character dynamics.
