Description More Thomas and Friends OCs!

Elsie is the largest engine on Edward's Branch Line and the strongest. She is a War Department Austerity 2-10-0 Decapod built in 1943 during World War 2 who would later be transferred over to British Railways in 1948. Mainly hauling goods trains, Elsie pulled heavy goods for BR for 12 years before being withdrawn from service in 1962. Later she was hired by the North Norfolk Railway where she hauled various tourist trains and a few photo specials while working for the heritage railway, but wished she was hauling actual mainline trains again someday. That chance soon came in 1992 when the North Western Railway purchased her for goods train duties on Edward's Branch and haul occasional passenger trains from time to time. When not on the branch, Elsie can sometimes be seen pushing trains up Gordon's Hill if an engine needs help up the hill and would also keep Bill and Ben in line if Boco or Edward is busy. She is a hard working engine and likes to keep herself busy whenever she feels bored.
