Description I made these vambraces for my mercenary captain character in a larp I go to. The symbol on the top of the center plate of the right arm guard is the symbol of the Darkwater Mercenaries, the group my character leads. The runes running down the same plate spell Darkwater in Elder Futhark.

What type of armor are you looking to make? I can send a few tutorials your way.

talk about hot! These turned out awesome. I especially love the etching (is it etching?) on them. I'm assuming that they are Norse runes, nice choice. You are getting really good at armor making, buddy. Are you planning on using leather for the laces eventually? or are you going to stick with the cotton ones? Still, congrats on an amazing job.

Im probably going to stick with the cotton laces. Ive used leather laces on a few pieces of armor before, and disliked how difficult it was to undo knots to take the stuff off.

Very cool, but how do they attach?

There are laces on the underside of them to tie them shut around the arm.
