The result of duck-taping my Canon XSi to my hand and then sticking it out of the top of my car (Nissan 300zx with t-tops) while speeding around mountain curves !For once, my vision of what I wanted to achieve did not fall short of the final product. I am very happy with how this came out as it is everything I was trying/hoping for !
Taken using the 18-55mm IS kit lens, and edited in CS3

First of all i want to say that the title suits this shot perfectly, you really get the idea this was taken at a high speed. It makes you wonder why was the person in such a hurry.
It takes a great amount of Balls to hang out your car at 60 mph with your (expensive) camera in your hand, even in this conditions the photographer managed to get a great composition and some great lighting.
I wonder though that the shot might have become a bit too busy to be easy to look it, but overall it is just a beautiful photograph taken with real guts, well done.

i like how the eye keeps drawing to the road and where it may go and then the blurring at the edges catches my eye again and almost gives the feeling of movement and then back to following the road. almost feels like im moving down the road myself

Simply beautiful. You don't even have to look at the title to know what it's about.
The blur close to the outside is just perfect. The unclearness just shows that it's sort of rushing. The forest is amazing, it's not just one kind of color, but multiple kinds and also different trees too.

It really felt euphoric driving through those roads. I tried to convey that sense here as much as possible. Im glad you enjoyed it ^_^

Wow, I can almost feel the movement in this! And what a beautiful place you're in, was it raining at the time? Or just wet?
I'm in Australia and it is a stinking hot summer at the moment, I've been dying to get out and take some wet-weather shots! They're always so full of atmosphere, so I'm hoping I'll be able to get out of town and into the mountains for a while. And on that note, I'd just like to say what a beautiful setting this is! The trees with all their contrasting primary colours is great, and the road is great, without leaves all over it, perfect.
