The composition is nice, you caught this at the perfect time of day making the colors pop. The contrast of blue, green and yellow is very nice. I really like the way all the flowers seem to lean towards the center of the picture, pulling you "forward."
I think that I would enjoy this more if not for the very strong movement effect. While definitely part of the statement you are making, I think the same feeling could be achieved by toning it down just a little. As it is, it gave my stomach a jolt when I looked at it. While I suppose that this could be considered a good thing, I felt like it made me want to look away. The longer I do look, the less I feel the impact of the jolt, which I suppose is okay, but as a just a browser the effect made me want to go to the next deviation in my inbox VS staying and looking. Another thing about the running effect is that it doesn't make me want to look at the whole picture, just the center. I doesn't make me want to let my eyes roam around the picture.

I agree with most of your points. The effect was achieved by zooming the lens in on a single (centered) focal point while I simultaneosuly shot the photo so toning down the effect would just be trial and error with the zoom speed. I agree though that the overall impact is somewhat mired in the flaws of the overall execution. As something more experimental, input like this is really helpful and ill certainly take that into account when trying something like this again

Ditto. Don't know if its because of an optical illusion or what but it seems as though the picture is vibrating. There's a sense of movement that isn't there, but it makes the picture hard to look at.
