Because of her exhaustive research Kira has tapped in to and mastered the forces of the Shadowyn, a alternate plane dominated by shadows and darkness. Her magic generally manifests itself in shadowy grays and blacks.
Background / History:
Born outside of Vladivostok, Russia and raised by her maternal grandmother. Kira, a skilled gymnast and dancer also had a natural aptitude for the mystic arts. Her grandmother (a bit of a witch herself) taught her what she could.
In time she engrossed herself in whatever mystical texts she could get her hands on, regardless of their authenticity.
She has a shadow wyrm familiar named Shynzahn that is her constant companion and guardian.
Recently has her powers have grown and she uses them more or more her appearance has began to alter, becoming more sinister. Taking on an almost demonic and skeletal appearance. The presence of Shynzahn seems to help alleviate and/or lessen the change. It seems they are able to reabsorb some of the Shadowyn essence that permeates Kira's body.
Her English is not the best, so she often times falls back into her native Russian when speaking.
