“Dirty urchin” is probably most folks’ first impression of Ari, and they’re just fine with that. Barely out of childhood, Ari has worked a dozen different jobs of various legitimacies since the age of 10.

Ari’s personality is a constant struggle between their playful, rebellious, brave, curious inner child and the grit, bitterness, and paranoia they acquired during their tumultuous teenage years. Ari is often impulsive and rarely afraid to act, but a bit more reserved when nervous.

Ari is a determined, hard worker, eager for challenges, and unafraid to get dirty or scraped up, though they can get antsy or distracted (and probably have ADHD). In the right circumstances (when impulsiveness is not an option) they can occasionally be a bit thoughtful and analytical.

Ari isn’t the smoothest talker and may come off as nosy, rude, or childish. They are usually friendly (to non-rich/fancy folk), but often blunt (though they’ve learned to shut their trap occasionally). Their voice is androgynous, youthful but rough, and has a strong cockney accent full of crass slang. They get annoyed when people don’t understand their slang, thinking them out of touch with common folk.
