Description Insufferable moments of madness,
Tethered by such fleeting elation,
The irony of my fate is this:
I make it so, the architect of my own damnation.
I cause my pain,
I summon forth my own sorrow and tears,
And tease my self with visions of greatness,
Then stifle them as their time nears.
I am puppet and puppeteer,
Pulling the strings that make me progress,
Never making it more than a few steps forward,
Before I chose to regress.
I could stop,
If to stop I should so chose,
But then the fate of my own destiny,
To a greater master of fate I would lose.
I like knowing where I'm going,
Down, further and further down,
I am my own king,
Self made misfortune, my crown.

I love the flow of this poem as well as the subject. This is really good. The word choice in this kicks ass. I like this alot. It elaborates on your feeling, to the point that you can't help but get what the writer wanted to be gotten. The last line, Just really get's me. I'm a sucker for the last line of a poem, and this one is one of my favorites. Great job!

Thank you. I've posted my poetry to a lot of sites, but was never able to get any feedback. In just a few hours I've gotten so much. Thank you, I'll have to check out your site.
