Description
This is my christmas gift for how is perhaps my only real life friend who gives a damn in anything I draw. So she is quite dear to me. The drawing is showing her two main characters Ty and Loke enjoying he sunset/moonlight toghterthe upper drawing is the first attempt I did on this drawing, unfortienly drawn on paper not fitted for proper wet watercolouring so I'm not that pleased with it.
then after 2 more attempts on smaller sized drawings on proper watercolour paper we have the bottom result, I'm alot more pleased with it than the first one

Great pieces, Stein! I actually like how each one has it's own mood and feel, especially with how the tones on the foxes backs came out. The top painting's tones feel smooth, I feel like that fits the concept of it being at night well. The bottom painting's harsher lighting and more contrast on the hills fits the daybreak setting, and I really love the morning sky colors you did here.

LOVELY work stein! I like the way the second piece came out . I really hoped you learned allot from these. i mean i do when i step back and look at them. Sometimes i think you do your best work when your just let go to do your own thing. And it shows here , the sunrise looks beautiful , the subtle shaded and the fur lines.

Okay, now for more indepth[ish] reply
I like how the colors bring more attention to the characters then the background, which by the way is also just as good. Terrain is good along with anatomy.
few things i did notice the more zoomed in [bottom] is slightly blurry, might be my poor eyesight or PC but figrued i'd shoot that by ya.
Overall i think this is a amazing piece.
