It reminds me the art of the HUICHOLES from Mexico.

thank you. Your feedback is very interesting. Yes, in times past people used shapes to communicate messages. My art is loaded with shapes and forms. It's a language unspoken. I understand.

I never planned any of these works. They create themselves. I'm certainly not the only one that does this.

thank you. Why would I want it removed. I'm flattered I mean, I had to send this emoticon even though we just recently met.

Have you seen my pen and inks? Go to page 4 or 5. I think you'll like it from what I saw on your journal page and your work. I'd appreciate it.

Maybe you'll have something on your wall from me

yes I know---it's probably one of my favorite pieces right now from my work---I'm talking about the base for all this (Bird Man) which is complete as is, and yes---it works so well every which way.

Little did I know all these years that my style so naturally lends itself to this. I was starting to think I shouldn't always draw/paint like that---like the images etc would always (most of the time) end up going off beyond the paper. I never intended any of them to go together like this. I've been doing pen work like this for many years---and the style goes into the painting almost the same.
Thanks again for all the feedback huggies

yes they do---it was quite a discovery for me months ago. I was like freaking. A printer buddy of mine said "yeah' most of ur work can probably go together like this."

Oh---the rattie!! Remember I told you about it---it's in Bird Man. I'm going to cut a section of the piece and send it to you via email. Easier then trying to explain where he is lol

I know---hope you like him--remember he's part of Bird Man---and worked in as such---not the perfect rattie if you will. lol Actually he/she (who knows haha) is an angry looking rattie

yes lol---and my apology I haven't sent him yet. I'm sorry Rachael---I told you weeks ago he was going to have the critter in your email---promise---next couple days if not tonight

I can't keep up with this lol Sure you know how it is here---I have to make some changes. I just have too much in my life---including marketing my art to spend so much time here---not to mention I'm still taking on some tile work---family---house--kids---and on and on it goes---oh---and music too lol

Dave--you said it! As yours probably do too. They lose so much. It's not the way ones views art either. Figure 4 to 6 feet --whatever.

Here ur on top of it---and the lightings always the same---the angle is always the same---so many things. But i'M NOT COMPLAINING---i GET TO SHARE MY WORK WITH SO MANY PEOPLE FROM AROUND THE WORLD---AND THAT'S PRETTY COOL. (caps unintentional)

This has yet to be printed out together in the 16 panel format---I'll get it up soon---but first a couple 4 and 8 panel. I do it this way so you guys can see what's going on. Put togethwer from the beginning is just not the same---loses a ton. I believe the 16 panel would be 8x10 feet without any enlarging. Good for a huge office building or something---or a whole smaller wall in my home lol

Every time I look at this, I see more images: cow, birds, jungle growth/leaves and vines, eyes, and the signature. I'm not done, though. I'm coming back to find more. This is amazing, bold, and alive in every respect. It seems to breathe.

Stepbeyond In reply to desmo100 [2006-08-30 06:44:09 +0000 UTC]

wow---what a comment---and I love that you're seeing it the way it was meant to be seen. You're right---you will keep seeing more things---it's just the way it works with them. I believe one reason is the brain processes the images---then the next time goes on to new ones---etc. That make sense to you?

When reworking Mr. Lonely Face I spotted 4 images I didn't see before---that was after putting it aside for about 4 months---then seeing it again. I'm conviced it takes about a 6 months to a year of living with it to get the whole thing. Why? You see it from different lighting---different angles---different distances---and then rotating it---etc---just too too much for anyone on an art site to go through---especially they are artists themselves----and have there own art/etc---I understand that all too well.

I thank you for taking the time with it---I realize they can come off so straight foward from a first short look. The style demands attention and repeated viewings---I just have to get my art in front of people. Imagine 35 of my pieces in a show lol Like I hope it almost makes people look. Doing my first all out show next month---should be wonderfuly interesting.

Again---thanks for the viewing and wonderfulcomments

You're very welcome, Stephen. I really admire what you're doing; it's always fascinating to look at and stands the test of time very well, at least since I've been watching you. And congratulations for the all-out show!!! Where is it going to be held? Hope it's a huge success!!

well I do know it's going to have alot of people. It's called the parish house of the church---like the coffee room---but it's pretty big---will fit quite a few folks.

I'm trying to get Friday later day/early evening, and Sat. Going to spread the word and try to involve a woman I know who's the editor of the local newspaper.

It's a start anyway.

thank you. You know---right now it's going to be satisfying to have all my Kookie stuff in one place and watching the reactions I mean---it's going to look pretty wild---like you have to look---know what I mean? lol

I will offer a few price ranges and options so anyone that really likes something can buy one. I want my art to get out there. It would be nice to know people all over the place have my work somewhere in their home and enjoy it.
