I see that, and very happy you enjoy them. There has to be a 2000 hrs plus in that gallery from the second half of 2005 to now. My goodness, when I read this myself it sounds crazy.
I believe Horns took about 160 hrs.

I knowm and I believe I thanked you already for that. If I didn't I'm so sorry. Bird Man is one of the favorites in person. He will be hanging up soon in a gallery. Fish Love and Passion Fish are already hanging up. Can't wait to post my painting finished about 3 weeks ago. Been waiting for the full scan and disc.
I want the original to stay there. It's mostly metalics and only the original will show that.

Oh---you picked one I really like too---there's quite a few birds in that one---well birds seem to pop up in all of my pieces---like they won't leave me alone lol
Flip that one upside down---looks real good that way too
You know---the one I'm almost finished with---I look at it and wonder some times where this came from---I know tile work is one---but other things even I don't know where it all comes from---really don't. I'm in awe myself sometimes---I look at it and I see things keep coming out---and more---and other new images to me. I've looked and worked on this thing for over 150 hrs---and I'm seeing new images I haven't seen in a wide area view---meaning I connect a whole area from top to bottom versus a close area look---of course I do all views when looking at them---I have to to see what it needs--or doesn't need---color changes--etc---etc

Ah... what to say about "Birdman". Well, for one thing the cartoon show "Harvey Birdman" comes to mind, but that's got nothing to do with the art in question. Just a product of a cartoonist's mind, that's all.
Beautiful colors, as it should be; birds tend to be very colorful. Let me think of something really smart to say... I like the variation between the checkered patterns and the striped patterns, connected by a sea of drips and swirls. Nice contrast.

Another very vivid and interesting piece of work. Eyes
as always are quite prominent in this, and red must
be one of your favourite colours. I see reds a lot in
your art pieces. Great composition as always. The
bird reminds me of a parrot.

they do take alot of patience. Guess the many years of tile work has taught me that---you just have to have patience to do that work---and be able to withstand much frustration at times lol
