Build: Ukrainian Saddle. He looks particularly good for sport work and he was a heavy saddle horse. His eyes have always been bright, though now they glow. His neck is long and attractive. He has a little more heft than others of his breed, but that is because since the accident he has grown in strength and bulk.
Age: 25 Years (but appears/acts 4)
Height: 16 Hands
Color: Black with lime green mane and tail. His biohazard sign on his rear is glowing.
Markings: Glowing biohazard sign on his butt. He has a slightly lighter shade of nuclear symbol markings on his foreleg knees. He has white stockings on his rear legs and white socks on his front legs. He has a white "fanged skull" marking on his head. He has a tribal marking under his eyes. Both sides match markings and coloration.
Discipline: Dressage, Racing, show jumping and eventing.

Personality:
His favorite foods are pop rocks, chocolate and gummy worms. He likes swedish fish too. Tir'Rielle Island makes it so that you're healthy no matter what you eat, so many of the island's creatures have strange diets.
History: Nuclear Hazard was born and raised among the finest Ukrainian Saddlehorses. His mother, a prized mare who carried a trace of Russian Saddle horse blood was particularly sought after. The fine bay mare was quite stunning with the then-fine ebony foal by her side. He grew stronger and stronger, his body toning and his quality improving. He was being seriously considered for stud. As a test for this, he was introduced to his training just before the age two. All the highest quality horses of his breed were required to participate in a performance testing as two- and three-year-olds, which includes racing on the track, jumping, and dressage. Only the best are allowed to stand at stud and his trainers had high hopes for him. As he developed, he began to compete. At two he was essentially a shoe-in as a quality horse to expand their stud services. However, tragedy struck.
He along with many other young horses in training were taken to Pripyat River which was near the Chernobyl Nuclear plant. The most horrible nuclear accident that has ever happened occurred near where the stallion was staying. He watched in horror as all the other horses died when their thyroid glands were destroyed by radiation doses. It was a slow and agonizing death. He watched it and the entire time, his body was taking in the raditiation. It changed him in an entirely different way. He surived, but not without changing.
Little did he know though, that he had been already chosen by Abathia to go to the Tir'Rielle island. The unicorn goddess had tried to take others, but her magic was taken quickly trying to preserve what she could during the blast.
The unicorn goddess preserved his life, but her magic stablized him in an odd way. His changing body adopted markings that displayed the biohazard and nuclear symbols. It marked him as poisoned by radiation. That night Atarn left the island of Tir'Rielle, concealed by Abathia's magic and he reached the black horse just as the markings emerged. Trying to not notice the horses Abathia had been unable to save, Atarn took the stallion to the Island of Tir'Rielle. Once there, Abathia, whose magic kept everyone on the island from aging or growing ill, preserved his life fully.
Now, several years later, the stallion lives, but his fur and coat is a testimony to what he has survived. Unlike many of the horses, he has not developed as keen and strong an intellect as the other horses that have arrived, but for a stallion, he is surprisingly gentle. This means that he is often used as a mount for visitors since he really likes humans. He loves his life on the island and is smart enough to realize, that here, he will live for a long time, if not forever, and he will never see another devastating loss of so many horses as he saw at that time.

There is something beyond fantasy here. This is a mystical land just for you. If you like something real or mundane, Stephanie creates stunning domestic and wild animals. She studies biology and has a love of the ocean and wild animals. Horses, wolves, foxes, ponies, deer, dogs, cats, panthers, lions, fish, tigers and other creatures are some of the animals she draws. Stephanie Small is an artist located in California but she has spent time all over Oregon. Nature is an influential inspiration to Stephanie, as she seeks to augment and reflect what she sees around her in a variety of mediums. Inspired by medieval art, the fantasy and science fiction genre and more, Stephanie has developed a style of mythical realism. Stephanie uses a variety of styles and mixed mediums in her artwork. She regularly uses digital mediums such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Painter and more. She favors traditional mediums such as colored pencil, chalk, pen, ink, pencil, acrylic, watercolor. She has been known to adapt fabric, recycled art, recycled purses to create art that is both useful and stylish.
Stephanie has been interviewed and featured in several magazines and websites. Her artwork has been published several times in books and magazines. She is best known for artwork featured in publications such as the Page, the Twisted Vine, the Unicorn and others. Her artwork will be featured on the cover of several upcoming books and publications.
She often donates teaching, administrative assistance, research and artwork to many local non-profits. She has taught in-person and online classes on food preservation, writing, gardening, spirituality, unicorns, art and more. She has worked for (and with) the local government to initiate youth projects, senior events and business support.
Stephanie loves unicorns and the horses she grew up with. It is clear in her art. She also loves mermaids. She even has a set of mermaid fins she can swim in. Stephanie Small finds inspiration in the animals of the ocean such as whales, orcas, narwhals and dolphins. I know. I was going to do it about Hiroshima at first, since my grandma and several family members could give me a lot of info, but I soon realized how much more powerful the Chernobyl accident was and I researched it a lot, even pinning down how horses were affected, and where, so I could make it more genuine. Its actually very interesting.
