Not to seem picky, but her hands and arms seem too big for her frame...

I am suddenly reminded of the Sha'Mehay from Amelia Atwater-Rhodes' Kiesh'ra series.

I have no idea what the last half of the sentence refers to, but I take it it's a compliment? ^^()

The Kiesh'ra is a book series by Amelia Atwater-Rhodes, starting with Hawksong. The Sha'Mehay is a dancers guild, and it's members are Serpiente, shape-shifters that (if it's not obvious) change into snakes.

Very nice. Seems like a lovely blend of Celtic and Egyptian design...two very different cultures that I would never think to combine...lovely!

Thank you. May I ask what you see as Egyptian? Just out of curiosity. I ought to try a Celtic/Egyptian mix on purpose sometime. It would be interesting.

The dancer seems Egyptian to me. Probably because of the style, clothing, pose, and the fact that he (or is it she?) is part snake. Snakes have always made me think of Egypt...

That's interesting. I was actually going for the Indian Naga with him, so Egypt never crossed my mind.

Very art Nouveau (spelling?). I really like the pattern and all the flowing lines, I think it would look pretty good coloured.
