My entry into Shades of Green contest!I just managed to complete it with only a few days left before the September 4th deadline. WEUF! My scheduals take up so much of my time these days...
Anyway, another piece inspired by a piece of official Gainax Yoko art, this time from the music video, "S.t.a.r.S" by Inoue Marina, Yoko's Japanese VA. You should check it out, it's super cute.
At any rate, I wanted a relaxed feel for Nilla, who probably gets super tired after serving jerks all day. (hur hur.) Threw in tons of references and in-jokes, some way more subtle than others. Don't feel bad if you don't get them all...they're hard on purpose.
I really hope Meta likes it! I had a lot of fun drawing it!
