Thought I would upload some Megamind pics to celebrate the release of the fantastic Dreamworks movie, Megamind

So I was perusing ThinkStock trying to get some ideas for some Megamind x Roxanne pics, and I came across a lovely one of a couple in fancy dress clothes (which I can't seem to find on there at the moment to link back to it...) I thought it would be the perfect pic for the two, since the guy had a sly look on his face (though the woman looked a bit stupid). So I doodled up the couple and decided I wanted to be creative with their outfits. I like to think Megamind has a nifty "going out on the town" outfit for when Roxanne won't let him wear the spikes, thinking he would find going out in a suit and tie not stylish enough. Megamind ALWAYS goes out in style!

The inspiration for MM's outfit design is part Kingdom Hearts ('cause I LOVE zippers and the long coats of OrgXIII) and part me wanting to create something that would still be very Megamind, but "fancy". Über-popped collar on a fancy leather coat? Oooooh yeah. I absolutely love Megamind in this pic. He turned out wonderful, and OMG, I want his boots. YAY!

Roxanne's... I'm not entirely fond of, but I saw shoes like the ones she's wearing at a shoe store here in Ottawa, so I wanted to put her in them. Other than that, I don't think she looks like Roxanne really (I'm having a really hard time getting her curves down...) And her face looks a little stupid. But meh, whatever.

The background... I dunno what it's supposed to be. I was going for a balcony at a fancy restaurant at sunset thing... Maybe. I dunno. The yellow/blue is photoshop with a star brush.

Again, all the black in this is totally and completely markers-only. Including the coloured tinting on the outfit (coloured with pale green, lavender and blue markers to get the shades I was looking for ) I am SO awesome.
