The finished version of THIS PIC .What do ya know, I actually finished something old old old.

For those of you familiar with my work for the last ten years may recall a LONG time ago my Sonic fanfic series, The Metallic Touch (which I never did finish but I REALLY am trying to...), which is basically my own Sonic universe spawning from the final Sonic SatAM show "The Doomsday Project".
Anyway, this is my Sonic from the series, who's been roboticiized and injured and is trying to cope with both being roboticized and maintaining his sanity. Sally is trying everso hard, along with Sonic's Uncle Chuck, to repair and reverse engineer the deroboticizer. This scene is supposed to take place in my new story I never finished. Sonic and Sally analyze the current situation, where the Metallix are on their way to destroy Knothole once and for all.
I love the detail I put into this. And Sonic's newer styled shoes are easier to draw than the '99 version. *sighs* I really need to finish this series, and rewrite it. :./ Heh.
I have a strange fascination for Sonic Universe robots. I dunno why, but I just cannot get enough of them.
And I like drawing crazy spikes and huge ears. And feet. Heh.

Thanks!! It's LIGHTLY undergoing a rewrite, but I don't have much interest in the Sonic Fandom anymore, sadly, so it may take awhile. But I would like to post it up because it really was a good story back in the day. I read it now and laugh at how awful my knowledge of grammar was

Unfortunately it is currently offline... it got removed when the site I was hosting it at suddenly went to pay membership and they deleted all the free accounts. I'm hoping to rewrite it soon and post it on my FF.net account

The detail on this is amazing and I like your take on metal sonic as well, sort of a cross between the mecha madness comic and Silver sonic from sonic 2. To bad I never got to read your Metal touch series, sounds like It would be quite a interesting read.

I was just browsing and I just thought I'd say I'm a true Blue Sonic fan since 1991.
I Believe that Metal Sonic is referred to as Mecca Sonic since it has a lower power and speed but handles the power of Chaos with much more effectiveness. You get to fight that power with Knuckles in his final battle in "Sonic and Knuckles".
Metal Sonic is the more popular and less attractive one that is in Sonic CD, Sonic Heroes and is playable in vs mode in Sonic Adventure 2 battle. You also get to see a few displayed in Sonic Adventure.

This is not TOTALLY a canonical pic, as it is referring to my Fan-Fiction series I wrote years ago, semi-based on the SatAM Series. "MetalSonic" is what I called my roboticized Sonic, and MechaSonic was the drone created by Snively.

yea same here, when I was little I just said the fist name that came into mind, but I guess they wanted them to have the same names but still keep them with different names so we know which is which when in conversation. you know what I mean? there is even a forgotten Metal Sonic in gray and then became dark blue with yellow fly like eyes, but I don't know his name because they used him in Sonic 2 when they didn't talk. normally I would assume that was Metal Sonic before upgrades but I guess its the Proto-Type Metal Sonic cuz he's right next to him in Sonic Adv. Sorry my memory messed up on me, I just checked Sonic Adv. and there is only the 2 I just mentioned... Mecca Sonic isn't viewable in that game apparently... but his Gold parts rly makes him stand out to be completely different from the rest so I'm certain there is 3... Dr. Robotnic sure is obsessed...

Mecha Madness was my favourite saga in the old Archie series because Sonic looked so cool! ;_; I've not read your story, but this is an *amazing* pic none the less.

Hmm, interesting. Not something you really see too often, but that is what makes it more interesting to view though. I gotta admit that both characters look really good, the designs are rich in detail and reflect upon some of the work done in the comics, only the designs have been tweaked by your own hands.
Sonic actually looks rather nice in his roboticized form, albeit a little scary. But hey, didn't Chuck appear the same way at first, or anyone who went through that process for that matter?
Oh, nice work with Sally. She looks very mature and dashing too.
