Painted in Rebelle 4 ( Escape Motions ) using Gouache and Pencils.

The thing that made Ellen Ripley such a memorable character for me is the fact that she wasn't this highly trained specialist going into a situation to take control. In fact, she was terrified to be there and yet when it came down to it she stepped up carried the team and risked it all to do what's right.

There's a scene where she's gearing up in an elevator as it's descending, just as the door is about to open she readies herself. It's the moment I wanted to illustrate.
