Concept art for the game WarCry Extermination by Dream Powered Games. (~DreamPowered )As you go further into the ancient ruins of Taiga you begin to see a lot of structural damage, this scene you run into one of the walls before you reach a city that's been partially destroyed.
I wished I could really polish these up but they're just enough detail to help the modelers.

I like the friction lightning from the aircraft. My mental pictures of advanced ships flying over the surface of Dune from the great book series always included the lightning those aircraft would cause from all the sand in the air and the energy of the vehicle.

Awesome I didn't know that about Dune, I didn't read the book, I only watched parts of the movie when I was a kid. It makes sense though, ever take a fine sugar and sprinkle it over an open flame?
