Description This is my wife's bicycle. The frame is all wood. Layered plywood sheets, formed on a mold and glued together into a solid shape. No subframe or reinforcements, just wood.
The kiddy seat is also plywood.

Thanks, glad you like it. After my plywood stretched cruiser, my wife couldn't stay behind. At that time, our daughter was about 1 year old, so the bike had to have a matching kiddy seat.

I saw that... So cute! Will she (Amber) end up with a plywood trike??? Cant wait to see how you make out with the little doors, etc for the trees - I have a vague memory of reading about it having been done in a park in some major US city... Apparently vital news for Aussies (newspaper)

She's getting to big for a trike, and she's almost ready for riding a regular bike without training wheels. She might get a plywood bike when she's a little bit older. Right now she's growing like crazy, so by the time the bike is finished, she might be to big for it.

Ah, yes. The elf doors. Haven't had time to give that a try. I might have some free time this weekend. The weather over here is nice so a walk in the forrest looks nice.
